  • Who is good? “As it is written there is none righteous no not one” – Romans 3:10
  • Who has sinned?  For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God”  – Romans 3:23
  • What is the cost of your sin?  For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life” – Romans 6:23
  • Today can be your Turning Point – “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” – Romans 10:9
  • Pray now and ask Jesus to save you! For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness: and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. – Romans 10:10
  • Prayer:  Dear God, I admit I am a sinner, and need You as my Saviour.  I know that I cannot save myself.  I turn from my sin and put my faith in the blood that You shed for me on the cross to pay for all my sins.  I now accept You as my personal Saviour and trust You to take me to heaven. I turn my life over to You.  Thank You for saving me.  Amen.

    “But they in their trouble did turn unto the Lord God and sought Him out, and they found Him.”

    Turning does not come easily. It takes an act of will for us to make that turn. It means breaking old habits. It means admitting that we have been wrong, and this is never easy. It means losing face. It means starting all over again. This can be very painful. It means saying, “I am sorry.” It means recognizing that we have the ability to change. Without that turn, we will be trapped forever in yesterday’s ways. These things are terribly hard to do.

    Turning Point Prayer: Lord, help us to turn from callousness to sensitivity, from hostility to love, from pettiness to purpose, from envy to contentment, from carelessness to discipline, and from fear to faith. Turn us around, O Lord, and bring us back toward you. Revive our lives as at the beginning, and turn us toward each other, Lord, “for in isolation there is no life.”
