The Point of Turning Point
Our Vision:
To Fulfill The Great Commission
Ministering to the needs of people in Northeast Ohio by equipping individuals through Biblical counseling.
Psalm 1:1
Our Purpose:
We exist to proclaim Bible truth, to teach people how to live a life of faith in Christ, turning them on to the Abundant Life.
John 10:10
Our Ministry Theme Verse:
2 Chronicles 15:4
“But they in their trouble did turn unto the Lord God and sought Him out, and they found Him.”
Turning does not come easily. It takes an act of will for us to make that turn. It means breaking old habits. It means admitting that we have been wrong, and this is never easy. It means losing face. It means starting all over again. This can be very painful. It means saying, “I am sorry.” It means recognizing that we have the ability to change. Without that turn, we will be trapped forever in yesterday’s ways. These things are terribly hard to do.
Turning Point Prayer: Lord, help us to turn from callousness to sensitivity, from hostility to love, from pettiness to purpose, from envy to contentment, from carelessness to discipline, and from fear to faith. Turn us around, O Lord, and bring us back toward you. Revive our lives as at the beginning, and turn us toward each other, Lord, “for in isolation there is no life.”
